AMI4614 Communications IC Architectures
AMI4982 Lead-free Implementation
AMI4019 Business Issues of Microelectronics
AMI4040 Project Management for Microelectronics
Each module can be studied as a course in its own right for continuing professional
development (CPD) or as part of a programme of study leading to a postgraduate
qualification. The Module Availability Chart
indicates when each module is next scheduled to start.
Where a qualification is the goal, the degree awarded will depend on the choice of specialist modules and the number of credits gained. For details of the requirements of each of the two programmes, please refer to the table in each of the overviews: Advanced Microelectronics or Electronic Product Development.
Modules may also be studied on-campus at the University of Bolton. The title of the degree awarded is then Advanced Electronics Design.
A Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert) involves passing modules totalling 60 credits or more. A Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) involves passing modules totalling 120 credits or more. A Master of Science (MSc) involves the same 120 credits passes as the PgDip and in addition the MSc Project (code AMI5001) rated at 60 credits.
