Explanatory Notes

  1. There are three terms every year, each of them straddling a holiday period (Easter, Summer and Christmas).
  2. Details of which modules are planned for each term are to be found at the module availability chart.
  3. Applicants can start the course at the beginning of any term.
  4. An induction week (week 0) preceeds the start of the module.
  5. Each term consists of 12 study weeks and a holiday period plus a late submission period of one week at the end (with penalty).
  6. Each study week straddles a weekend. It begins at 00.00 on a Thursday and ends at midnight on a Wednesday.
  7. "Hol" = Holiday week. Tutor support not available during these weeks.
  8. "End" = End of the buffer period following a term. Other than in exceptional circumstances assignments submitted after this date will not receive any credit. Supporting documentation, such as a medical certificate, must be provided.
