MSc Project Proposal Form

Introduction

Project proposals are welcome from academic staff and students alike. To help ensure projects are defined at a suitable academic level, the MSc Project Guidelines gives this advice:

  1. There must be scope to conduct a review of the the present "body of knowledge" in the chosen area of investigation. This is most likely to be a literature search and review, but it could be a product review or business feasibility study, or perhaps something else.
  2. There must be some aspect of the project that defines it as being at masters level.  Usually it will be an element of investigation, design, development or analysis that justifies the award of MSc.
  3. The topic of the project must be relevant to the title of the MSc. i.e. Advanced Microelectronics, Electronic Product Development or Advanced Electronics Design.

Fields that are marked with an asterisk (*) must be completed.
