| Brief description | |
| To design an FPGA based logic analyser to display the trace of digital signals on a VGA monitor. The project will involve the investigation of currently available devices and technologies. From this investigation you will draw up a specification detailing the features and parameters of your required design. The design should produce an output that can be displayed on a VGA monitor. This could be either a direct drive to a monitor using the vga port or a serial (or usb)connection to a PC running a display application from say Visual C or some other Windows development software. An Altera DE1 Development boards is available from the university for implementation but you can use your own if you wish. | |
